It’s time for some changes at Redlands! Our sheer volume of lessons each week is becoming overwhelming and due to lack of staff we have had to make some hard decisions. As of October 14th 2025 we will no longer be offering casual riding lessons. Riding lessons will only be available to riders that are leasing or agisting a horse here at Redlands. This will enable us to have better availability for our committed riders and the horses will be happier to have their regular riders too.

We have loved having everyone here over the years but with our lease program becoming more and more popular we need to have time to devote to these riders and horses.

Horse Riding Lessons in Canberra

Redlands Stables is an equestrian centre in Bywong, NSW, 20 minutes from the Canberra CBD and three hours south of Sydney CBD. Previously located on the NSW Central Coast since 2000, we have been based in Bywong since 2016 with newly designed, state of the art facilities.

We regularly run school holiday camps for kids aged 7-17. It would definitely be no lie to say we run the best camps around- it’s pretty hard to get the kids to leave at the end!
